Ruins

The way a streak of sunlight hits the remaining walls of ruins. Feels like an embrace every morning after braving the cold night’s breeze.

And of vines that starts to grow and stick its branches and leaves among the rough surfaces of the walls; that invites all different kinds of insects. A comfort for years of longing for warm breath.
